OTET 2024 Notification: The Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) will be held in 2024 by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. Those who are interested in applying to be teachers in Orissa’s schools must take the Odissa TET 2024. The same will open for registration on October 10, 2024, and close on October 19, 2024. Applicants for the OTET Exam must be 12th grade graduates with at least 50% of the required points and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (CT or D.El.Ed.); 12th grade graduates with at least 45% of the required points and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; 12th grade graduates with 50% of the required points and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education); or graduates with a minimum of 50% of the required points and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)These circumstances fall into Group A.
For Category B, graduation and a two-year elementary education diploma OR graduation with at least 45% of the possible points towards a B.Ed. OR graduation with at least 50% of the possible points towards a B.Ed. in compliance with the NCTE OR graduation with at least 50% of the possible points towards a four-year B.El.Ed./B.A./B.Sc. Ed. or graduation with at least 50% of the possible points towards a B.Ed.
Paper I and Paper II are the two papers that make up the OTET exam. The purpose of the questions is to gauge the candidate’s aptitude for subject matter analysis, interpretation, and application. No negative marking is allowed.
