Himachal Pradesh State Eligibility Test – 2024: The State Eligibility Test (SET) online application procedure has begun and will last till January 2024. The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) is in charge of administering it. There will be 22 subject-specific state eligibility tests. Candidates must pass a qualifying examination to demonstrate their eligibility to apply for a position as an assistant professor in universities and other educational institutions in Himachal Pradesh.

Candidates must have earned a Master’s degree in Humanities (including Languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science, and Applications from a recognized university with at least a 55 percent grade point average (or its equivalent) to be eligible to take the eligibility exam, for candidates from the reserved category, a master’s degree is necessary, with a minimum requirement of 50%.
