Assam SLET Exam Date
Assam’s SLET Commission has announced the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024 announcement. Candidates who wish to apply for Assistant Professor positions in colleges and universities in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and Tripura must pass the exam to be considered for the positions. Candidates who pass this examination may apply for the position of assistant professor. Applicants must have completed their 2-year Master’s Degree or equivalent Degree from any institution or university that is UGC-approved. The minimum percentage obtained must be 55% for the general category.
Relaxation
There is a relaxation of 5% for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) category candidates.

The Assam State Level Eligibility Test Commission has opened the SET or SLET 2024 application process. The exam application form is currently available on sletneonline.co.in.

The online application period opened in November and will close in January 2024. January is the last month to deposit test fees at banks.
All Northeast State University centers will hold the test in March 2024.
